Turn Into a bee

Imagine if two or maybe three
Happened to turn into a bee

A stripy body with special powers
Hopping in and out of flowers

Flying around and feeling alive
Taking up residence in a hive

Thousands of times smaller than a whale
But with a powerful stingy pointy tail.

Kenny the Kloop

Kenny the Kloop is as wild as can be

He runs up mountains and skips across the sea.

Some say he’s completely out of control

He once tried to jump from the coast to the pole.

He finds it hard to sit still does Kenny the Kloop

He prefers to kneel down, sit, stand and stoop.

Now he’s attempting the ultimate crime.

He’s trying to escape from his own rhyme.

He’s hard to contain now he’s up near the top

If he escapes we’ll just have to sto……

The Ladder Whistler

Whistling up a ladder 40 times a day

It proves that I will most things for any kind of pay

To me it doesn't make much sense

I do not know the consequence

Do my whistles keep on going when they reach the top?

Or once they reach the final rung do they abruptly stop?

Maybe they drift up into space and then begin to fade

Alas, I do not really mind as long as I get paid.

The Flighty Foor

The Harbrik across the misty moor
Claims to own a flighty foor.

A foor to carry goods all day
And spend the evening eating hay.

They say he has the legs of a seal
And the teeth of hens to chew his meal.

More say his tail is how he makes his sound
And a pair of wings to walk around.

Such a wonder there was never before
They all call him the flighty foor.

Relaxing McTaaffe

You need a break to feel better

Said Doctor O’Setter

And wrote old Loober McTaaffe a long letter

So off went McTaaffe

And informed his staff

That he was taking a break

To live by the lake

Packing up his bag

And popping in his dentures

Off set old Loober on his adventures

Now he had a specific purpose in mind

What was it that Loober was attempting to find?

Opening his bag he took out a list

To experience the things that may not exist

Hopping in through a painting and past a windless mill

He reached the foot of a completely flat hill

Stepping forward was the only way he could stop

Then jumped into the stream to reach the top

Standing and kneeling on top of a ceiling

Gave old Loober a positive feeling

All his bad thoughts turned into goods

So he sat back and massaged the neck of the woods

He was now surrounded by some vintage crafts

And from an old box came the song of giraffes

‘We don’t really talk

We don’t do the squats

We’re more into showing off all of our spots

We don’t really sing

Or play any tin-whistles

We’re the eaters of leaves even nettles and thistles.

Canada’s weather is far too cold

Especially that of Quebec’s

On long hot days

We prefer the suns rays

On our lovely long giraffe necks’.

The song of giraffes

A new favourite of McTaaffe’s

He then opened a barrel that was filled up with laughs.

If you would like to relax

And need some assistance

Just look for some things that may not be in existence.

The Cow

A country stroll

A cats meow

Inside the gate

A spinning cow

A romantic setting

A couples vow

And in between

A spinning cow

A fantastic goal

My team is winning

I watch the replay

A cow is spinning

It’s late at night

The daylight dims

I close my eyes

The cow still spins.
